This residential renovation project in Drogheda, Co. Louth involved the transformation of an existing extension using Kalzip Anthracite aluminium standing seam cladding combined with a new Rhenofol PVC flat roof system.

 

The dark anthracite finish creates a striking contemporary appearance while complementing the existing property. Standing seam aluminium cladding was installed to the external walls and fascia details, delivering clean architectural lines and a durable low-maintenance finish.

 

As part of the renovation, the existing roof was upgraded with a Rhenofol PVC flat roofing system, providing a watertight and long-lasting solution. Large glazed openings connect the interior living space with the garden, while the combination of metal cladding and modern detailing gives the extension a distinctive architectural character.

 

The completed project demonstrates how standing seam aluminium cladding can be combined with high-performance flat roofing systems to modernise residential extensions and create a contemporary outdoor living space.
